From Alaska to Alaska
And then, after 50km you hit Alaska and it's little town of Hyder. Crazy, I made to a little part of this snow-land. The day was with gorgeous clouds and it definably was one of my best days on the road:
Eales in rest.Salmon are starting to spawn, so their tremendous journey from the sea to their particulair piece of river starts, with as one of the results that Bears come fishing too. Just like Mona and her three sons, (friendly called that by locals). She just came wondering by when I drove up to Fishcreek.
I ended at high snow that day.
My visit to Steward on the BC side, was made extra warm and flathering. Kelly made me feel like a lady. Comfortable and educational were the few times we spend togehether. Give love to your daughter and I know it will find you too. Bon appetit and cheers.
A group of 17 bicyclists, who were on their way from Texas to Alaska, turned out to be playfull evening company. Mancala, Dice and Pool were all played in a local bar. On the road to my next day I came across three foxes, one had even just caught a rabbit.
A friendly Brother and Sister Hitch-hiking for the last two years.
And I had some time for myself.
But a Next path was laid out. I started following the railroad and..............
